A touch of Tuscany in Danville
At this Danville location, a large lawn was removed to make way for this Tuscan style garden. This garden features a
flagstone seat wall with a cast concrete cap, and wall lights made by Unique Lighting Systems in the bronze finish. The wall
was oriented to highlight beautiful sunset views over the Danville foothills.
A fountain by Statue Factory serves as a focal point for the garden. The fountain also attracts birds and brings soothing
sounds to the garden. Benches allow the homeowners and guests to listen to and view the fountain.
Flagstone veneered planters are capped with brick to match the existing patio and steps. These planters provide a space
for the homeowners to grow vegetables.
Gravel paths with steel edging wind through this garden, featuring pollen-free Olive trees, various lavenders, and three
species of Oaks. Native and Mediterranean perennial plants are drought tolerant and attract wildlife and beneficial insects
to the garden.
