About Us

Ecology Landscape Company is a family-run, full-service landscape construction business that has been serving the East Bay for over 20 years. The owners are Tomas Torres and Tamara Smith.

Tomas worked in the landscaping and retail nursery businesses for over a decade, prior to starting Ecology Landscape.

Tamara graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Landscape Architecture. She was a project manager in commercial landscape construction and worked on projects including: faculty housing for UC Berkeley, UC Davis Medical Center, and San Francisco Library.

Ecology Landscape projects were featured in the Contra Costa Times and CA-Modern Magazine.

Ecology Landscape Company is licensed by the State of California, CSLB #725831 and a Member of the Better Business Bureau.
